About this piece
Every three or four months we would try to map out the topics and goals on the content calendar, taking into account the latest news and regulatory changes in Spain's immigration landscape.
From those planning sessions, creative pieces often emerged that aimed to make the information more engaging — slightly informal in tone while still covering legal topics. This piece came out of one of those moments, playing on the appeal Spain holds for the international community, especially during the summer season.
The ultimate goal: capture the attention of anyone browsing or searching for information about the Digital Nomad visa.
Notable aspects of this piece
- Use of an illustrated asset created from stock photography and artificial intelligence.
- Social media size requirements at the time called for a square format (1080 pixels), especially for this type of post.
- The source images used in the composition came from Freepik (now Magnific) and Adobe Stock.
- Final work done in Photoshop to add copy and adjust the illustration's color palette to match the brand.
- Additional versions were then produced for other placements and formats — including the company website — using Figma.
About the production process
The concept came out of a meeting between the marketing specialist and me. Within a short time I had a visual sketch ready, and from there we only needed to fine-tune the copy and produce the final artwork for each social media format.
